I knew Sam 30 years ago when he was president of the DeVry campus in Chicago. Such a strong and imposing figure, he carried himself like a true pro. I was a young buck back then and looked up to Sam literally and figuratively. He left his mark on DeVry and his name is still brought up in some circles today.
